Our blogs have been a bit thin on the ground of late – you could say since we started this website our ability to write anything of interest has been limited, but running a small business is tough. Every minute counts, and although communication is key in this game your time needs to be prioritised to maximise potential and keep ahead of the pack.
This is why, for the most part all the social media, website and other communications are not done by Rachael, but her husband who actually understands as much about recruitment as he does about why shampoo has to be flown in from the United States when there is a perfectly good shelf fill in the local supermarket.
Having tried without any success to get the boss to string a few lines together, it’s come to the point where I’m going to take the bull by the horns (I did that once in my youth – it didn’t end well) and do these blogs from an observational point of view – it may work, it may not – it may even convince the boss (who I call Essex) to find those few moments to add some interesting points, some intellect and words of wisdom to proceedings. Me doing this may actually make the world of Recruitment seem a little more interesting. Or I may end up sleeping in the caravan for overstepping the mark with some of my observations that I see from behind the scenes.
Wish me luck!
